                   AN ORDINANCE TO AMEND ORDINANCE NO. 6958, AS
                   AMENDED, KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE, SO AS
                   TO REZONE A TRACT OF LAND LOCATED AT 3200 DODDS
                   AVENUE, BEING ON THE SOUTHEAST LINE OF DODDS
                   AVENUE AT EAST 32ND STREET, FROM R-2
                   RESIDENTIAL ZONE TO M-2 LIGHT INDUSTRIAL ZONE,
                   SUBJECT TO CERTAIN CONDITIONS.

              	   SECTION 1.  BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
         CITY OF CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That Ordinance No. 6958, as
         amended, known as the Zoning Ordinance, be and the same is 
hereby
         amended so as to rezone:
               
                A tract of land located at 3200 Dodds Avenue, being
                on the southeast line of Dodds Avenue at East 32nd
                Street.  Lot 243, block 24, East Lake, Mission
                Ridge Land Company's subdivision, as shown by plat
                of record in plat book 2, page 25, ROHC; being the
                property described in deed book 3859, page 877,
                ROHC.  Tax Map No. 168B-L-8.
               
               
         from R-3 Residential Zone to M-2 Light Industrial Zone.
              SECTION 2.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this rezoning 
shall
         be subject to the following conditions:

              1.   Attached landscape conditions along the East property 

         line, to be installed once the existing building is removed; 
and
        
              2.   All existing easements are retained.
        
              	   SECTION 3.  BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED, That this 
Ordinance
         shall take effect two weeks from and after its passage, as
         provided by law.
